Michael Kling, O.D.
Dr. Michael Kling is president and CEO of Invision Optometry. Founded almost 20 years ago, Dr. Kling’s drive and passion has created one of the most successful eye care practices in southern California. Dr. Kling graduated with honors from the Southern College of Optometry in 1993. Following graduation, he completed residency training in Ocular Disease and Pathology at the Omega Eye Care Center in Jackson, TN. In 2000, Dr. Kling was named “Young Optometrist of the Year” by the California Optometric Association (COA).
Dr. Kling is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the California Optometric Association (COA) and is a past president of the San Diego County Optometric Society (SDCOS). In addition to private practice, Dr. Kling frequently consults and speaks for Leadership OD, a practice management consulting company for eye care professionals. In his free time, Dr. Kling enjoys running, cycling, and playing guitar in his rock band, Backstage Pass. He and his wife Jennifer, have two children, Robert and Ryan.
Kathryn Ordonez, O.D.
Dr. Kathryn Ordonez received her doctor of optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA. Upon graduating, Dr. Ordonez completed multiple externships in different modes of practice where she gained proficiency in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease, binocular vision disorders, complex contact lens fittings and co-management of pre- and post- operative surgical procedures.
Dr. Ordonez currently serves as a Trustee for the San Diego County Optometric Society and is a member of the California Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. Outside of work, Dr. Ordonez enjoys hiking, weight lifting, and traveling. Her most recent trip included traveling to seven different countries in Europe.
Jason Tu, O.D.

Dr. Jason Tu is a graduate of the University of California at Irvine and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, President of the California Optometric Association, and a Past-President of the San Diego County Optometric Society. He is also the Vision Source Administrator in San Diego and a consultant for Bausch+Lomb.
Dr. Tu is married to his best friend Susan, who he met at UCI. They keep busy with their two kids Adam and Audrey and their lab Bailey.
Andrea Russo, O.D.
During clinical rotations, Dr. Russo gained routine eye care experience in both private practice and hospital settings. She also provided eye care to hundreds of underserved individuals on an optometric mission trip in Honduras.
Upon graduating, Dr. Russo chose to further her clinical skills by completing a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the San Diego VA Healthcare system. At the Veteran’s hospital, she became confident diagnosing and managing complex cases involving both the anterior and posterior segment of the eye and performed specialized vision care such as traumatic brain injury and low vision examinations.
In addition to providing quality refractions, Dr. Russo is proficient in myopia management (orthokeratology and atropine), specialty contact lens fittings (soft, hard, hybrid), and dry eye disease management. When practicing, Dr. Russo strives for the best patient education and most enjoys providing family eye care. She is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and California Optometric Associations as well as the San Diego Optometric Society.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Russo enjoys both snow and water sports, but is happy to be in San Diego soaking up the sunshine.
